This is a multi-faceted role where you will be project managing, programming, and consulting on important market research projects. You will wear many hats and will need to understand our operational processes, and new product offerings. You will be providing guidance to clients on best practices in terms of research and using our software.We’re looking for motivated self-starters who want to be hands on with new technology and thrive in a fast-paced environment. We want individuals who keep calm under pressure and don’t shy away from the tough challenges.As Research Manager you’ll be executing through the entire project lifecycle but with a focus on programming, fieldwork and data delivery.The ideal candidate can juggle all the details of a project; collaborate with our various internal teams; provide advanced scripting and technical expertise, and ensure projects stay on schedule. We value attention to detail and strong logic/problem-solving ability, so we are looking for individuals who can work through research requirements with precision, while at the same time, work within a collaborative team environment to get the job done.RequirementsThe ideal candidate will have:Post-secondary educational degreeBetween 2-5 years of market research experienceWe are looking for someone with a good solid experience with object-oriented programming (in C#, C++, Lua or Java), and willing to keep learning with a good proficiency level.Strong knowledge of front end web technologies and an understanding of web programming concepts such as asynchronous programmingExperience using online survey tools to create quantitative surveysProficient with Microsoft Office (PPT, Word, Excel)SPSS a bonus but not requiredAn aptitude for technology and ability/desire to learn new software and techniques.Strong interpersonal and written communication skillsNote: this is a 6-month contract positionReady to join our team?
