This Full-time Fixed Term position is for approximately 3 months/year (based on length of grant funding), with the possibility of extension.This position reports to the Principal Investigator and will support ongoing research being conducted by various members of the research team.Position DescriptionSummary of Key Responsibilities(job functions include but are not limited to):Maintain Calendar and arrange meetings as directed by the PI and senior research staffPerform specific administrative tasks, such as filling out forms, as directed by the PIPlace orders, receive packages, and track inventory for lab and office-related suppliesMaintain office and lab-related recordsPerform basic data analysis as per direction by senior staffPrepare routine reports as directed by the PIPerform basic instrument maintenance (such as changing filters) as directed by the PIPerform other routine laboratory support jobs, such as a delivering supplies and performing laboratory clerical work and other lab tasks as directed by the senior research staffAttending and participating in laboratory meetings and professional development activities as directed by the senior research staffQualifications / Requirements:B.Sc. degree preferredAt least 1 year experience in a research environment requiredAbility to work independently and in a team environmentProficient in Microsoft OfficeExcellent communication skillsAbility to perform some physical work in a safe and mindful mannerMust be open to learning and development, and be willing to accept new challenges and assignmentsApplication Deadline: October 25, 2018We would like to thank all applicants in advance for submitting their resumes.
