Altum Health is currently recruiting an energetic, well-organized and experienced REPORTS COORDINATOR–REPORTS QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST to support our Auto Insurer Independent Medical Examination (IE) Program at our Toronto location. The principal responsibility of the Reports Coordinator–Reports Quality Assurance Specialist is to ensure our final product; in this case the Independent Medical Examination Report is of the highest quality and is delivered to the customer on time.
When reports are submitted by our medical professionals, the Reports Coordinator-Reports Quality Assurance Specialist formats the report as per specific reporting requirements, reviews the report for non-medical errors such as spelling and grammar, report inconsistencies and omissions, and ensures all questions are answered as per the customers’ request and as per the assessors’ scope. All changes are tracked and suggested corrections and /or questions related to the content of the report are sent to the medical professional for their review, clarification and / or edits.
The Reports Coordinator-Reports Quality Assurance Specialist is also responsible for ensuring the medical professional report timelines are met and therefore, frequent communication with medical professionals is required via phone, email or/or in-person. Developing an efficient workflow and tracking system to monitor reports statuses at all points in the reporting cycle is imperative for success, as well as communicating this information with the other members of the team.
The Reports Coordinator-Reports Quality Assurance Specialist also performs various customer service responsibilities including uploading the reports, billing and responding to customer inquiries. The Reports Coordinator-Reports Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for guiding requests through the established processes, including fielding questions and escalating requests as required.
• Regular health care professional designation is required
• Extensive experience reviewing and editing Auto Independent Evaluation reports is required
• Experience reviewing and editing CAT and Post 104 Auto Independent Evaluation reports is an asset
• Extensive experience reviewing and editing Auto Independent Evaluation reports as well working knowledge of the SABS is required
• Excellent computer skills in MS Word, Excel, outlook is required
• Excellent organization and coordination skills required to ensure timeliness, comprehensiveness and accuracy of report content
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to deal effectively with medical professionals to obtain or clarify information
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking and deductive reasoning skills to interpret information, and identify specific areas that require further investigation
