Dynacare is currently searching for aQuality Assurance Coordinator to join our team in for Vancouver BC.This is a permanent role, workingMonday to Friday from 9am to 5pm.The Quality Assurance Coordinator will be responsible for performing quality assurance review for paramedical and medical evidence, data entry and applicable follow-up and documentation for the quality assurance program.RESPONSIBILITES:Assist in the quality assurance review process for paramedical and medical evidenceReceive, open, sort, and scan incoming documentationFollow-up on missing information in orders and other investigatory activitiesEnsure accuracy of information and reports, and contact Health Professionals for missing informationProcess reports and prepare corrections / amendments for insurance companies / applicantsMonitor quality procedures and implement quality improvement measures that lead to improved efficienciesResolve problems with applicant’s medical evidence, service complaints and other issuesData entry as requiredEscalate issues to managerAny other duties/responsibilities assigned by the immediate supervisorSKILLS KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:KnowledgeCompletion of High School1 to 2 years’ medical office experience or a related field (including the insurance industry)Medical terminology coursesor similar experience / knowledgeTechnical SkillsStrong keyboarding skills, minimum 40 wpm; scannersMS Outlook, workingknowledge ofexcelSocial Process SkillsStrong oral and written communication reading comprehensionDetail OrientedProfessional demeanor and mature approach to customer serviceAble to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlinesAbility to learn new tasks quickly and work independently and with the teamDNA of an Ideal Dynacare EmployeeI make a difference in people’s lives.
