We recognize the individual needs of our staff while supporting and assisting them to reach their full potential.Keller Foundations is seeking aPurchaser(Maternity Leave Contract) to join our Acton, ON office.The job responsibilities include:Central point of contact for procurement and supply chain support;Ensure that materials are purchased from key suppliers at the best prices and within the timeframes that jobs require;Build and maintain positive long-term business relationships/partnerships with key suppliers and internal/external customers to support the business operations and future growth of the Company;Confer and correspond with internal and external representatives to expedite, trace and/or rectify problems to meet standard, emergency, and short-notice internal demands;Oversee inventory control and annual inventory audit;The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:Relevant post-secondary education, PMAC, CPP or APCIS courses an asset;Previous experience in a similar role working alongside operations and engineering is an asset;Experience in the construction industry is preferred;Strong organization skills, including the ability to work independently and in a team with minimal direction;Strong written and oral communication skills, including negotiation skills with focus on long term supplier relationship;Critical thinker with the ability to problem solve;Proficient in MS Office, Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point, Dynamics, and the ability to actively reference the internet;Ability to adapt to ever changing priorities in a calm and professional manner;Strong attention to detail.
