We seek problem-solvers who are eager to rise to the challenges of a continuously evolving technological industry, and those who want to make an impact of the safety of people and businesses globally.Responsibilities:Staff, train, evaluate and develop team membersManage line effectiveness, and monitor production key performance indicatorsManage within labor and OPEX budgetMonitor the production process, make periodic checks and adjust equipment or work practices according to standard operating proceduresEnsure equipment in the area assigned is in working order and that working conditions are safe at all timesVerify the readiness of the production line at start-up and supervise change oversManage overall package and product quality to ensure all standards and specificationsCreate and manage Work Center capacity planningSet schedules and oversee time management of all staffDevelopment and Implementation of Plant Floor lean principlesPerform other duties as assignedQualifications:Bachelor Degree in an applicable engineering, science, mathematics or business disciplineCPIM certification or in the process of attaining (preferred)Lean and/or Six Sigma trainingExperience managing and coaching salaried and hourly employees within a manufacturing environmentExperience in a MRP environment; SAP preferredExperience optimizing up-time and qualityExperience managing growth in a manufacturing environmentExperience implementing process improvements and technology in a manufacturing environmentExcellent communication and organizational skillsProficient in Microsoft applicationsSupervision experience in electronics manufacturing environmentPerks and Benefits:As a full-time employee at Avigilon, you are eligible to receive a comprehensive benefits package which includes MSP, extended health, dental, medical insurance while travelling.
