Our approach is to embrace the strength of our products and pace of innovation to drive marketing programs that are as entrepreneurial, data-driven and respectful of our customers as Avigilon itself.We are looking for an energetic, driven and passionate individual that will contribute to Avigilon’s fast-paced product marketing team. You will have a hand in shaping the product journey for all Avigilon products, including our advanced artificial intelligence, award-winning self-learning video analytics and leading video technologies, such as Appearance Search™, HDSM™ and SmartCodec™, just to name a few. You will also work with our powerful high-definition cameras, including the industry-first 7K (30 megapixel) HD Pro, high-performance video management software and a complementary physical access control system that is changing the way people interact with their security systems.Reporting to the Senior Manager of Global Product Marketing, the Product Marketing Specialist is the co-owner of all global outbound customer-facing activities across Avigilon’s broad range of surveillance and physical access control solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with the Sr. Product Marketing Manager and the marketing creative team to help craft and develop the messaging, positioning and content for customer-facing collateral, assets and tradeshows in support of launch activities and campaigns.Responsibilities include:Maintain awareness of Avigilon brand guidelines in all product assetsWork closely with key stakeholders to help craft the messaging and positioning for datasheets, flyers, quick selection guides, leaflets, brochures, architecture diagrams and other product-related collateral to meet launch objectivesWork closely with product management to develop and deliver product launch plans, message maps and sales webinars in support of launch initiativesAssist with product lifecycle management across all business linesConduct competitive research and maintain knowledge of the physical security and related markets in order to correctly position new and existing productsConduct interviews with internal sales to develop product collateral, VOC surveys and marketing toolsAttend security tradeshows on occasion to help with solution messaging and demo executionReport and deliver product metrics on a quarterly basisQualifications:Bachelor’s degree with a focus on marketing or marketing communications3 – 5 years of product launch experience is a mustExperience with product lifecycle managementExperience with CRM systemsPreference will be given to candidates with the following skills and experienceAbility to multi-task in a collaborative fast-paced environmentExceptional written and verbal communication skillsUnderstanding and ability to tailor communication style to the audienceExcellent with people and capable of interacting in a professional manner with colleagues and cross-functional team members, and third party agenciesPossesses visionary and innovative thought processing skillsStrong user of Microsoft products including, Word, PowerPoint and ExcelAvailable to travel up to 25% of the timeWe believe that diversity spawns innovation – the more diverse our employees are, the more ideas and talents we have to excel as a leader in the technology sector.
