Come Join Us!You can learn more about for preparing hot and cold foods following standard recipes.Responsible for cleaning work areas, equipment, utensils, dishes and silverware.Responsible for cutting and/or slicing meat.Responsible for washing, peeling and cutting fruit and vegetables to prepare for cooking or serving.Responsible for mixing ingredients for green salads, fruit salads, vegetable salads and pasta salads.Ensures all kitchen equipment is operating properly and reports maintenance needs to the Executive Chef or Sous Chef.Must show demonstrated ability to meet the company standard for excellent attendance.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Ability to operate Kitchen equipment to include broiler, steamer, chef knife, convection oven, mixer and slicer.Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment.Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, management staff and guest in a clear, business-like and respectful manner which focuses on generating a positive enthusiastic and cooperative work environment.Possess valid food handling certificate if required by state and federal regulations.Education, Qualifications and Experience:Experience working in a fast-paced kitchen in a Prep Cook capacity is preferred.SPECTRA IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYMENT EMPLOYER.
