Primary Areas of Operation:
Stator Tube Preparation-
Processes where a steel tube is modified and prepared so it can be tested and assembled following all procedures and specifications.
Stator Rotor Preparation-
Processes where a steel rotor is modified and prepared so it can be tested and assembled following all procedures and specifications
Stator Tube Painting-
Processes where the stator tube is prepared and painted on the exterior to prevent corrosion in the field
Pump testing –
Processes where a stator and rotor are matched, and tested to ensure the efficiency meets the customer requirements.
General Job Requirements:
Learn and understand the required Process Steps and Sub-Process Steps through the Technical Work Instructions, Task Risk Assessments, Stator Travel Document, and Work Order Requirements.
Develop and maintain safe work habits; learn and maintain the importance of working safe without fail.
Understand the importance and requirement to follow procedures to ensure the quality standards are maintained.
Achieve minimum meets expectations on performance review, including attendance, team work, housekeeping, safety and quality.
Participate in company based learning.
Keep machine / work area clean; participate in housekeeping duties.
Read and Write English.
Blueprint reading and understanding.
Process, Sub-Process, Technical Work Instruction, Stator Travel Document understanding, and Work Order Specifications.
Report writing skills: neat handwriting; developing level of computer and data entry.
Read and use measuring and testing instruments (e.g. Gages, Micrometers, and Calipers).
Knowledge and use of hand tools, including pneumatic and hydraulic power tools.
Understanding of machine tolerances and how tolerance stack ups can affect tooling.
Material Handling: Crane and Forklift operation; knowledge and experience moving large steel tubes (where applicable).
