Yes Job ID 47237 Title ON-SITE SUPERVISOR Job Type Permanent Job Description We are looking for an experienced On-Site Supervisor to oversee and coordinate the swamping/lumping activities at our Client location. You will implement production, productivity, quality and customer service standards and achieve the appropriate level of volume within time limits. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure that daily operations meet and exceed daily performance expectations and to increase the company’s overall market share. Drake lumping team and any warehouse personnel supplied by Drake will report directly to the Drake On-Site Supervisor. Responsibilities •Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, dispatching and assuring quality of goods are moved throughout the warehouse. •Responsible for Drake lumping orientation and on-site health and safety training. •Coordinate Drake lumping team schedule with TCL on a weekly basis. •Ensure the time card are signed by the receiver or onsite supervisor. •Distributes work and trailers load fairly •Ensure a safe work environment. •Responsible for disciplinary actions and must be reported and approved by Drake Branch through appropriate reporting and communication channels. •Tracks absentees and approves time off and notifies Drake Branch of such. •Measure and report the effectiveness of warehousing activities and employees performance •Organize and maintain inventory and storage area •Ensure shipments’ and inventory transactions’ accuracy •Communicate job expectations and coach employees •Determine staffing levels and assign workload •Interface with customers to answer questions, solve problems and encourage a working partnership with Drake •Maintain items record, document necessary information and utilize reports to project warehouse status •Identify areas of improvement and establish innovative or adjust existing work procedures and practices •Confer and coordinate activities with other departments Requirements •Logistics, supply chain management or business administration is an asset •Proven work experience as a warehouse supervisor •Highly effective supervisory skills and techniques •Knowledge of warehouse software packages and MS Office proficiency •Ability to input, retrieve and analyse data •Hands-on commitment to getting the job done •Excellent communication and interpersonal skills •Proven ability to direct and coordinate operations •Strong organizational and time management skills Date Added 6/18/2018
