While agriculture is a core commodity, we also have Food, Home & Lumber, Petroleum and Gas Bar retail stores in five communities.Customer service is our competitive advantage as is our goal to be the retailer of choice in our area.Twin Valley Co-op is searching for an OFFICE MANAGER/ACCOUNTANT at our corporate office in Birtle. This position reports directly to the Controller.The OFFICE MANAGER/ACCOUNTANT is responsible for providing direction to administrative staff by working directly with the Controller. He or she will complete the period end financial statements, conduct internal audit functions, and assist in the preparation of the annual budget.The successful candidate must live the brand, making those around them feel at home. Applicants must have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in finance or accounting with excellent accounting skills and knowledge. They must be proficient in a variety of computer applications, including MS Office. They will have excellent organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills, as well as have the ability to work effectively in a team environment.Experience within the Co-operative Retailing System will be considered an asset.
