Dynacare is currently looking for a Server/Network Specialist to join our Brampton, Ontario team. This is afull-time position, working Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIESAdminister Windows and VMWare servers;including design, installation, configuration, monitoring, patching,clustering, troubleshooting and optimizationPerforms equipment installations (Servers, Switches,and SANs), configurations andrelocation of equipmentas requiredConfiguration, installation, upgrade, patchingand management of operatingsystems, core applications, customsystems and networksDaily system administration functions toensure system integrity, capacity,performance, security and disasterrecovery readinessAdminister SAN and iSCSIstorage arraysManage and support emailspam & filtering servicesConfigure and support theenterprise anti-virus systemsAbility to extensively support various O365Cloud base Enterprise Systems (email,MS SharePoint, Dynamics and Exchange)Support and configure Active Directoryand GPO’s, DHCP, DNSSupport the enterprisebackup solutionProvide basic network and firewalltroubleshooting and supportKeep system administration processes andprocedure documentation up to dateincidents, completing service requestsand project tasks as requiredEvaluate, develop, and implement new hardwareand software solutions as assignedEnsures standards and processes are beingfollowed in a consistent way by allsupport levelsProvide third level technical support of existinginformations systems locally andremotely. This will include on-call statusand occasional travel to remote locationsResponsibilitiesinclude advise, instruct and train front linesupport staff on theoperation of Information systems infrastructureWork closely with internal and external customers tounderstand their technologyneeds in order to propose process and/or technologychanges to meet those needsKey contributor to variousenterprise and functional projectsKNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEKnowledgeStrong knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systemsand experience with implementingand managing Microsoft applications suchas Microsoft Active Directory, Exchange2013/2016, SharePoint 2013/2016, System Center Config Manager,Operations Manager, and VirtualMachine ManagerSkilled in Microsoft Enterprise MicrosoftEnterprise technologies including but not toAD, Exchange, RDS, ADFS, clustering, Hyper-V, DFSMicrosoft Hyper-V in a highlyavailable cluster environmentActive Directory, DNS, DHCP, DFSand Print ServersSkilled use of Microsoft System Center toolsfor enterprise patch management,operating system and application deploymentand monitoringFamiliar with SANs andhyperconverged infrastructureFamiliar with wired and wireless network troubleshooting,configuration, andmanagementDemonstrated ability staycurrent on technology trendsSKILLS AND ABILITIESTechnical SkillsA minimum of 5 years-experience workingin Servers/PC hardware, software andnetwork administrationA minimum of 5 years-experience workingwith virtual servers (Hyper-V and/orVMware)Microsoft Certified System Engineer(MCSE) qualificationSocial Process SkillsGood communication (oral and written), interpersonaland organizational skillsSeeks opportunities to increasecustomer satisfactionAbility to work in a multi-functionalteam environment with rapidly changingprioritiesGood analytical and problem-solving skillsInfluencing – ability to impact decisions withinand outside functional area within thecontext and prescribed limits establishedby the immediate managerDNA of an Ideal Dynacare EmployeeI make a difference in people’s lives.
