YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supplier Quality Support
Clarify concern (out-of-spec condition with part)
Communicate concern with Supplier
Submit Supplier Corrective Action Report (SCAR) requests
Facilitate closure of SCARs with Supplier.
Assembly Quality Support
Assist with control plan validation.
Assist with internal and external calibration.
Assist with new product development (NPD) process readiness and process audits.
Assist with engineering change notice (ECN) process readiness and audits for Focus Area.
Facilitate containment, problem analysis, and corrective action for Focus Area concerns.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Will have completed sophomore level or higher of B.S. of Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering.
Computer literate with knowledge of: MS Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint, ERP/MRP BOM systems, CAD.
Demonstrated proficiency with mechanical inspection tools and techniques including: calipers, thread gages, micrometers, pin gages, and indicators.
Proficiency in reading engineering drawings including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T).
Strong teamwork skills with ability to work with minimal supervision.
Strong mechanical aptitude.
Willingness to learn and successfully apply additional skills and knowledge (pFMEA, 8D, Kepner-Tregoe Problem Analysis, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, inspection techniques, product manuals, etc.).
