Key Responsibilities Assist with the design work of mechanical systems for buildings and industrial projects, for both new construction and renovations projectsPreparation of drawings for mechanical systemsPreparation of specifications for mechanical systemsCoordination of work with work of other engineering disciplinesDesign experience with mechanical systems for buildings and industrial projects, for both new construction and renovations projectsWork experience should include building and industrial design projects and involve all aspects of mechanical system design including plumbing, compressed air, process water systems, fire protection, heating systems including steam and hot water, ventilation, air distribution and air handling systems, mechanical equipment sizing and selection and controlsGood working knowledge of mechanical systems and familiarity with working through the design and preparation of drawings for complex systems and processesWork experience on inter-discipline projectsAbility to use AutoCAD is requiredAbility to communicate effectively, both verbal and written and candidate will possess excellent people management skillsAbility to handle challenges and work under tight deadlinesMust have a valid driver’s licenseAbility to travel as requested and be willing to work overtimeWood is a global leader in the delivery of project, engineering and technical services to energy and industrial markets.
