One Holts The Manager,Strategic Sourcing(Fixtures, Furniture &Equipment Procurement) is responsible for sourcing projects including building fit up for new and existing stores including remodels and special projects. This role will drive incremental program savings, identify new opportunities to increase spend under management and resolve supplier contractual issues all within their assigned categories. The sourcing manager will also negotiate supplier contracts, monitor supplier performance, and support program implementation. Strategic Sourcing Partner with stakeholders to source products and services using proven tools, processes, and analytics to drive and achieve business results in the following capabilities: Partner with internal business clients to develop and influence sourcing strategy using the best tools and methodology by project. Oversee the sourcing events with 3rd party partners ensuring a transparent and objective process Evaluate analyses of sourcing results from a total cost of ownership perspective, and provide optimization recommendations. Lead cross-functional team to negotiate value based agreements with vendor partners Optimize processes and contracting strategies Contract Management (ability to create and manage contracts, partner with legal and internal business teams, reduce exposure to risk factors). Own vendor negotiations during sourcing events to help the organization meet savings targets and other KPI’s Experience leading procurement/sourcing decisions and owning/facilitating strategic sourcing process (e.g., defining service-level agreements/scope of work, launching RFPs, negotiating with vendors) Educate lines of business around strategic sourcing process and initiatives Ensure appropriate sourcing strategies are in place for effective and timely execution of initiatives Establish category strategies for an assigned portfolio in conjunction with the business Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following: Maintain FF&E external supplier networks, ensuring a robust pool and ready supply of quality, reliable vendors Source new, up and coming suppliers to inject newness and maintain Holt Renfrew’s edge Assist and work closely with Construction, Store Design, Real Estate, and Facilities Maintenance Departments to support department strategies Manage expenses within approved budget and achieve all expense management targets The ideal candidate: Post-secondary degree in a related field 5-7 years of post-university work experiencein category-specific procurement to include sourcing, negotiation and contracting, preferably in a retail environment with construction and design experience Familiar with industry standards with regards to commercial fit-out of millwork and fixtures Knowledge of the drivers of operational performance and costs, including SLAs, performance management practices, and the value of risk within contracts. Excellent communication skills and ability to build meaningful team relationships to drive results Leadership presence and proven ability to influence Executives and VPs Is adaptable and comfortable with ambiguity and change Proficiency in analytical methods and deriving insights from data. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) CSCMP, ISM, APICS, Facilities Management, Construction, BPO, or other relevant certification or training The measures of success: Contribution to financial objectives Individual objectives linked to the achievement of department goals Feedback from internal and external clients Application Deadline: August 6, 2018
