With a strong understanding of business process, multiple technology platforms and data management and experience in software development, Manager, AML Operation Effectiveness Solution is responsible for gathering business requirements, providing and managing innovative business / technical solutions and data management support for various AML groups within the BMO Financial Group. The objective is to address the evolving AML reporting and process needs by accelerating speed and agility, enabling actionable business intelligence and operational excellence in the AML frontline and the AML enterprise. Key Accountabilities Accountable for the analysis, design, development, implementation and support of applications in support of the Chief AML Officer Design, develop, and operate Robotic Process Automation (RPA) or other automation solution for various AML process to increase operation efficiency Writes high quality code according to accepted standards based on user requirements Facilitate requirement gathering Participates in project and team meetings interacting and collaborating with team members and other departments as necessary Contributes to successful completion of project deliverables Provide expertise, internal consultancy, and training to the user community for the solution developed Troubleshoot issues encountered by customers for the solution delivered or escalate in-house or to vendors as necessary Refine client requirements and guide them through the decision making process Recommend business solutions that satisfy sponsor / stakeholder needs while exploring and assessing value-add options for clients on a continuous basis. Manage and perform data management tasks include implementing data governance policies, performing data analyses, executing data quality oversight, recommending requirement for data integration, data mining, and managing meta-data documentations. Analyse data and perform data discovery to understand business operations and how AML can leverage the data for transaction monitoring and analytic. Ensure adequate end user documentations and training, and facilitate small to large meeting to conduct information gathering session. Design or provide support for creating business system testing, UAT and post-implementation approach and test cases. Coordinate with T&O and end users on post implementation testing to ensure smooth project implementation. Work with Technology & Operations and business operation teams to bring in book of record source systems to enhance the AML analytic work space.
