The Clinical Applications Specialist Manageris responsible for managing the Sysmex Canada team of Clinical Applications Specialists (CAS) that provides clinical and implementation support to customers.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Manages SCI CAS team that provide exceptional clinical and implementation support.Provides clinical and technical expertise, as well as demonstrates experience and knowledge of laboratory disciplines and best practices.Works with SCI project management to provide CAS resources and support for CAS project needs.Manages escalations and utilizes all resources to resolve issue. Communicates and informs appropriate management team. Monitors and intervenes for service recovery if needed.Ensures appropriate documentation is completed for all tasks, issues and resolutions are documented appropriately in Metrix.Reviews customer feedback via survey results. Proactively follows-up based on feedback from customer and/or CAS.Ensures partnership with Field Service, Technical Assistance Center (TAC) and Sales team to support customers with requests, optimization activities and implementations.Participates in development of new clinical systems, processes, programs to enhance existing services.Provides development opportunities for team, as well as establishes performance standards and completes performance management responsibilities. Educates and coaches staff regarding performance concerns.Other duties as assignedPercentage of Travel: 20-50%Bachelor’s degree required. Previous experience in application support and/or management required. MBA or MLT preferred.Experience with all aspects of field implementations forlaboratory departmentsand lab automation.All MS office predicts, and Windows application skills essential.Strong verbal written and persuasive communication skills essential.French language an asset.Presentation skills and experience essential.Ability to win trust and confidence. Interact with all levels from Lab techs to managers to enhance the Sysmex experience and set achievable customer expectations.A strong laboratory background is essential to allow this position to communicate with respect.Strong decisive self-motivated skill required.Project leadership skills essential.Ability to resolve complex, multi-factorial problems essential.Leadership and professionalism.Sysmex is proud to be an EEO/Affirmative Action employer.
