Cargill operates five Canadian facilities located in Ontario, Alberta and Quebec. In Alberta, the High River plant is a fully integrated beef processing facility where over 2,300 employees’ process 4500 head of cattle per day, and the Calgary Case Ready facility has over 350 employees serving national retailers and food service customers. In Ontario, the fully integrated Guelph beef facility employs over 820 employees and processes 1,800 head of cattle per day, while the Guelph Case Ready facility has over 600 employees. In Quebec, the Chambly Case Ready facility has over 500 employees serving national retailers and food service customers. Responsibilities: As the Maintenance Supervisor reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager out of our facility in Calgary, AB, you will primarily be responsible for supervision of the technicians and contractors performing maintenance of production and facility equipment. Weekends and any other shifts that are needed. Principal Accountabilities: 30% – Provide leadership to hourly trades to maintain plant production schedules and acts as a technical resource and coach to crew members and peers 20% – Document and maintain standard operation procedures 20% – Plan, supervise, coordinate, schedule and assign all work requirements associated with preventative maintenance, project and day to day work orders 10% – Maintain HACCP program compliance and documentation 10% – Improve Preventative Maintenance processes, and enhance PM routines to improve upon current system 5% – Communicate and work in cooperation with Production personnel to ensure maximum uptime of production line equipment 5% – Perform any maintenance task as required Cargill operates five Canadian facilities located in Ontario, Alberta and Quebec.
