Wood Environment & Infrastructure Solutions is seeking a Labourer responsible for weighing trucks in the scale house and checking trucks and their tickets as they arrive at their location, in addition to other roles on site such as helping survey crews, erecting and removing traffic signage, etc.Key Responsibilities General site labourScaleperson – weighing trucks and recording net trucks weightsChecker – recording trucks and their weights as they arrive on construction siteConfirm weight of truckConfirm material goes to appropriate location on projectPotential for physical work (including erecting and removing traffic construction signage)Fill in for other roles onsite, as requiredWork outside in variable weather conditions, rain or shine12-hour work daysOther duties may be assigned from time to timeAccurate data entryStrong organizational skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment with interruptionsAbility to work independentlyPrevious experience working with a weight scale an assetPositive attitudeMust be punctual and reliableMust be able to work six to seven days a weekPrevious experience an assetWood is a global leader in the delivery of project, engineering and technical services to energy and industrial markets.
