Since opening its doors in 1989, this landmark destination has welcomed guests and colleagues to an unforgettable mountain adventure – start yours today Summary of Responsibilities: Reporting to the Restaurants Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging luxury service Assist Breakfast Food & Beverage Servers in all aspects of the dining experience including but are not limited to serving dishes to tables, clearing and re-setting tables, maintaining buffets, setting buffets, communicating with culinary team members to expedite orders. Assist Dinner Food & Beverage Servers in all aspects of the dining experience including but are not limited to serving dishes to tables, preparing dishes table-side, clearing and re-setting tables, maintaining dining room side stations, setting buffets, communicating with culinary team members to expedite orders. Assist guests regarding menu items in an informative and helpful way that enhances the dining experience Ensure the proper set up of all side stations in the outlet Have knowledge of beverage lists and promotions to communicate with guests effectively Have knowledge of all menu items, menu specification sheets, garnishes, contents and preparation methods Follow outlet policies, procedures and service standards Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage To be Health & Safety conscious and actively involved in maintaining a safe work environment May be scheduled shifts in other Food & Beverage Departments as assigned by Management Other duties as assigned Junior Server – Wildflower Exceptional service and cuisine are hallmarks of theThe Fairmont Chateau Whistlerdining experience.
