Kumon is the world’s largest after-school math and reading enrichment program and one of the most established franchise businesses in the world — with more than 300,000 students enrolled and more than 1,500 individually owned and operated Kumon Math and Reading Centres in the U.S. and Canada alone.The role of the graphic designer will be to deliver a variety of tactical creative materials including but not limited to website and social media content, local level ads and communication materials, window installations, exterior signage and internal program materials; all in line with the global Kumon brand standards. Location: Kumon Canada, Inc (Head Office:6240 Highway 7, Woodbridge ON, L4H 4G3)Durationof contract: One year contract with the possibility of extension.Produce attractive and effective designs for all mediaWork with existing global creative assets and adapt for local markets as requiredCreate one-off creative assets for various activities such as student award events, open houses, and localized promotionsProduce consistent work that live up to brand standards regardless of project sizeReformat, resize and tweak existing creative as neededWork under tight deadlines and changing priorities while satisfying client expectations and carrying several projects at onceFollow up with clients for status updates and revisions through online platformsDemonstrate illustrative skills with rough sketches to portray creative concepts and ideasCommunicate with marketing team members to discuss the business objectives and requirements of the jobPost – Secondary diploma or degree in graphic design or visual communicationsProficient knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite:InDesignIllustratorPhotoshopAcrobatBasic Knowledge in:After EffectsPremiere ProMicrosoft WordPower Point Web DesignAnalytical, reasoning and problem-solving skills2‐5 years related experienceStrong verbal and written communication skills with ability to clearly articulate opinions and ideasAbility to work effectively with minimal supervisionWillingness to listen to feedback and use it to improveAccuracy and attention to detail when finalizing designsCapacity to meet deadlines and work under pressure in a team environmentPassion for the education industry
