Role:Reporting to the Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor, this an exciting opportunity for the Millwright to work in a brand new SAGD Facility, and initially assist with the commissioning and startup of both the Central Processing and Field Facilities. Thereafter, following facility startup, the Millwright will continue to work with our dynamic maintenance team and utilize contemporary plant reliability and condition based maintenance / monitoring systems and technologies to drive proactive plant maintenance culture; and support the execution of maintenance and repair on rotating and mechanical equipment (fixed equipment).Qualifications: Journeyman Millwright (Interprovincial Red Seal)Minimum 5 years oil and gas or related journeyman experienceStrong knowledge and/or experience in Plant Maintenance and Reliability Systems, and application Condition Based Maintenance/Monitoring Technologies.Vibration ISO Cat II certification /equivalent or could be obtained with 6 months of employment Good Knowledge of industry practices, codes and safety standardsGood communication and interpersonal skillsGood Organizational skillsDemonstrated ability to take initiative and work independentlyDemonstrated sound work ethics and a commitment to safetyPrimary Responsibilities: Troubleshoot, and Perform Preventive Maintenance (PM) & Corrective Maintenance (CM) on rotating equipment and associated systems – Pumps and Pumping Systems, Compressors, Boiler ID/FD Fans, Mechanical Seals Systems etc. Removal, Rebuild/Overhaul and Field Installation of Rotating Equipment. Experience balancing (both field & shop) and alignment with laser alignment systems required.Assist with the removal and installation of Fixed Equipment including Heat Exchanger, Tanks, Pressure Vessels, Piping Spools and Boiler Parts etc.Read and Interpret diagrams and schematic drawings and service manuals to determine proper work procedures and associated safety precautions.Operate hoisting and lifting devices such as overhead cranes, chain hoist, jacks, fork lift etc. to position machinery and parts during the installation, set-up and repair of machinery Work with and oversee support crews during major Overhauls and Turnaround Maintenance Work.Some Welding experience – minimum of tack welding experience required Actively support and assist with implementation of Initiatives to help drive Plant Overall Reliability. Provide support to the Reliability Engineer as require.Perform Predictive and Condition Based Monitoring (CBM) – Gather vibration data in the field, analyze data, keep track of the facility online condition-based monitoring system and analyze the results by extracting data and evaluating with a high degree of accuracy, Bearing Temperature Monitoring and Analysis, Ultrasonic Monitoring and Analysis, and Visual Inspection to determine equipment health and recommend appropriate maintenance.Lubrication – Perform equipment lubrication utilizing state-of-the-art Digital Ultrasonic Grease Caddy; Champion Oil Analysis Program.Reliability Analysis – Perform basic reliability analysis including correlation of data & trends from multiple CBM sources and Process Data for equipment and systems troubleshooting / fault diagnosis; and support Reliability Engineer as required.Provide data for failure investigation, and support root cause failure Analysis (RCFA), and investigation as required.Knowledge and/or experience working with Work Order and Maintenance Management Systems – Maintain and update equipment records and repair history within – MAXIMO EAMS.Provide input into work planning and scheduling process.Support safety and continuous improvement programs.Working Conditions:This role will be positioned at our Field Operations in Fort McMurrayThis role will be on a 7×7 rotation, 12 hours per day
