IT Accounting Application AnalystThe RoleReporting to the IT Applications Manager, the Accounting Application Analyst will be in-charge of evaluating and implementing functionality improvements and changes to Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains (GP) application. He / she will be responsible for the administration and support of Microsoft GP application.ResponsibilitiesServe as the point of contact for all GP application related requirements of the Accounting department Proactively identify gaps and opportunities to improve effectiveness of the applicationRecommend and implement application / functionality enhancements and changes to address business requirements Partner with business to create business requirements / functional specification documentsDevelop technical specifications and work with programmers to implement changes Produce testing documentation, manage and perform testing as requiredManage the upgrade, maintenance and administration of GP applicationProvide Production Support for GP application – triage and troubleshoot application related issues Identify reporting requirement and develop reports in Management Reporter (or other reporting tools)Own user profile management and coordinate user access reviews Partner with Accounting to evaluate and implement business processes changesIdentify technology needs (beyond GP) to enhance accounting processes and engage with vendors on software selection and implementation Develop and deliver training to end-usersQualificationsBachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required in Computer Science, Information System or Quantitative disciplines (Math/Statistics/Finance/Economics or other)3+ years of experience supporting Microsoft Dynamics GPFunctional knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics GP financial moduleFamiliarity with GP table structuresKnowledge of integration tools (eConnect, Scribe, etc.)Experience developing and modifying reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Management Reporter, Crystal Reports or Business Analytics tools a plusProficiency in Project Management Tools and proceduresKnowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) & ITIL (IT Infrastructure Library) processes preferredAbility to influence and build relationshipsStrong communication and presentation skillsMust be flexible to travel within US & Canada, if neededCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive WagesFlex Benefit Plan, Health, Dental and VisionShort and Long Term DisabilityTAKE YOUR CAREER TO THE NEXT LEVEL……APPLY TODAY
