We are looking for a bright, positive individual to join our Kelowna office. We are seeking an intermediate Civil Design Technologist. This position will provide the opportunity to work on projects related to government and private infrastructure. This position is ideal for an individual looking to advance their career into detailed design and contract administration, supporting activities in the field of municipal and community infrastructure engineering throughout the Okanagan Valley. This position will work with our team of 33 employees in the Kelowna office as well as a team of recognized industry experts within our Engineering group across Tetra Tech. Responsibilities •Contribute to the production of engineering designs, including roadways, drainage, pump stations, sewage lift stations, PRV’s, site grading including watermains, sanitary and storm sewer systems •Assist with the approval of designs with municipal and provincial authorities •Prepare detailed engineering designs, plans, reports and project informational requirements, using primarily Civil 3D, as well as other technical software as needed •Coordinate the preparation of construction cost estimates, tender documents and contracts •Assist with construction supervision and/or administration of projects Explore a different kind of company – one that offers exciting challenges and fulfilling rewards. Candidates must be prepared to undertake field assignments. •Must be physically capable of performing the required field duties. •Possess a valid British Columbia Class 5 driver’s license (or equivalent). •Legally entitled to work in Canada.
