Position Description: The candidate will be part of a team responsible for adoption of Application Performance Management (APM) product. By working closely with developers and production management organizations to understand their applications, the candidate will be able provide deep visibility into application performance and help improve client experience. The successful candidate will need to interface with the application developers and support teams in order to feed client requirements back into the tools, products and instrumentation standards. The candidate must possess a strong ability to coordinate and execute tasks across technology silos / divisions, and must demonstrate superior communication skills as to seamlessly operate with all levels of staff. Key Responsibilities: – Build and maintain relationships with business unit technical groups utilizing the team’s products, and provide subject matter expertise for integration of APM product with users’ applications – Integrate multiple vendor and in-house performance tools together to create end-to-end visibility of transaction flow – Deploy and configure vendor performance monitoring tools in our highly customized web and container-based infrastructure – Support operations teams as engineering escalation point on the plant and provide engineering on-call cover for the plants/products we?re responsible for. – Manage application onboarding process via JIRA and Kanban methodolody- Streamline and automate the process of onboarding by developing script and procedures that will help ensure consistent and uniform deployment across environments.
