In Room Dining Supervisor The In-Room Dining Supervisor will be responsible for assisting the In-Room Dining Manager in the day to day operations of the department. The successful candidate will be required to ensure optimal service is being provided to all colleagues and guests. The In-Room Dining Supervisor will be accountable fortasks such as: scheduling, opening and closing duties, and completing monthly reports. Summary of Responsibilities: Reporting to the In Room DiningManager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: Controls and analyzes on an ongoing basis the following areas: quality, guest satisfaction (voice of the guest – VOG), colleague satisfaction (CES) Labor Costs of the day to day operation Sanitation, cleanliness, hygiene in front and back of the house Supervision of all room service employees, facilitates sales and costs of the day to day operation Maintenance of a safe working environment (Health and Safety) Supervises, coordinates and directs the prompt, efficient and courteous serving of food and beverages for all room service orders and suite set ups Assigns and controls server’s side duties in a fair and reasonable manner Ensures optimal service is being provided while maximizing profit potential Establishes and maintains effective employee relations Watches proper staff level and labor hours during being in charge of the room Assists In-Room Dining Manager in staff training areas Assists the In-Room Dining Manager with promotional programs in order to boost sales Conducts pre meal briefings and maintains liaison with the Kitchen Manager on duty Participates on cleaning inspections on a regular basis with In-Room Dining Manager to ensure compliance with health and hotel cleanliness standards Is present on the floor and leads by example as a warm and professional host Knows basic operational functions of the outlet’s P.O.S system Ensures hotel standards of conduct are met Controls stocks for daily use in restaurants to ensure service requirement are met Takes ownership for guests reservations and special requests Gets involved in preparation of the F&B department budget and goals Participates in all fields of administrative work required, including but not limited to: schedules, cleaning and maintenance logbooks, opening/closing duties, cleaning checklists, tracks and compiles sales statistics per month Performs related duties and special projects as assigned In Room Dining Supervisor The In-Room Dining Supervisor will be responsible for assisting the In-Room Dining Manager in the day to day operations of the department.
