JOB DESCRIPTION – WHAT YOU ARE EXPECTED TO DO · Provide HR support, with high priority on recruitment activities, payroll and benefits and other HR initiatives · Maintain and administer HR database, ensuring accurate records of associates · Assist with and manage WSIB claims, STD, LOA, LTD, etc. and provide other administrative support Support organizational/corporate events and continually engage with warehouse associates to identify and resolve issues · Be the main point of contact for associates while responding to general inquiries and resolving issues in accordance with legislation and company policies WHAT YOU WILL BRING · 1-2 years of experience as HR Generalist, with high focus on Recruitment · Exposure to and knowledge about Employment-related legislations (provincial and federal), HR procedures and processes, Employee relations, Training, Performance Management. · Relevant Certifications or Post-secondary education in human resources or related discipline / CHRP designation · Excellent computer skills with experience and knowledge of HRIS and Payroll software, data entry, word processing and spreadsheets · Outgoing personality with excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate with associates, partners and stakeholders across the department · Detail-oriented, self-motivated with excellent numerical aptitude and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize between multiple demands and projects · Experience in Manufacturing / Warehousing environment considered a great asset WORKING CONDITIONS Shift – have to be flexible to work anytime between 8 am to 8 pm Location- Mississauga If you are a passionate, committed and dynamic HR professional, then submit your resume in confidence by clicking “Apply”.
