Summary of Responsibilities: Reporting to the Head Golf Professional, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: Consistently offer professional, engaging and friendly service Follow departmental policies, procedures and service standards Schedule tee-times and check in guests upon arrival Effectively handle all cash transactions including close out procedures Attractively display and pro-actively sell merchandise and services Ensure all guest areas are tidy including the golf shop, locker rooms, front area, and the first tee Maximize revenue opportunities by controlling inventory, receiving, monitoring and ordering of stock Assist guests and address any concerns in an informative way Assist Golfer Services, Starters and Players Assistants when necessary Record and monitor pace of play Communicate necessary information to guests regarding their round Follow all safety and sanitation policies Adhere to the hotel’s vehicle handling and safety policies while driving hotel and guest vehicles Other duties as assigned Golf Course Front Shop/Starter As the Front Shop/Start at Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge Golf Course, you willhave theopportunity to create lasting memories for our guests while they enjoy one of Canada’stop rated golf courses.
