Be a part of a vibrant world class team! Work in ‘Canada’s Medal Factory’ and help Canadian athletes make their mark. This position reports to the Team Lead, Guest Services, and maintains the efficient operation of the Olympic Oval Front Office. This position involves working in a high traffic reception area with frequent interruptions. Hours of work include daytime, evening and weekend.Position DescriptionSummary of Key Responsibilities(job functions include but are not limited to):Provide exceptional customer service to all users of the Olympic Oval, both internally (faculty, staff, athletes, and students) and externally (general public, organizations and sponsors)Respond accurately and professionally to general telephone, email, and in person inquiries and requestsMaintain an organized, clean working environmentOperate the POS system for public skating admissions, athlete fees and other monetary transactionsBalance cash outs and provide proper reporting for your shiftQualifications / Requirements:Experience in an office environment with strong communication and customer service skillsExcellent organizational and multi-tasking skillsAbility to work independently and prioritizeGood working knowledge of Microsoft Office applicationsExperience in cash handling and utilizing a POS system is an assetMust be bondableAble to commit to working a minimum of two shifts per weekApplication Deadline:September 30, 2018.
