Front Desk Agent Trump Int’l Hotel, Las Vegas
Non-Exempt
Reports to: Front Desk Manager
Position Overview
To assist guests in the checking in and checking out of the hotel. Duties include: using the computer to retrieve guests reservations, expediting the check-in and check-out process while using the Trump Brand standards and service basics, accepting payment for hotel services, giving guests information about the property and the city, up-selling the property by offering additional or enhanced services and anticipating guests needs while they are staying with us.
Qualifications and Physical/Mental Requirements
Must possess excellent follow up and organizational skills. Must be able to work flexible and varied schedules including weekends and holidays. This position requires computer literacy, excellent customer service and communication skills as well as the ability to multi-task with attention to detail. Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment. Must also be proactive and have a creative, positive, and focused vision. Knowledge of Opera, HotSoS, and Timelox is a plus.
Specific Position Requirements
1 year Front Desk Experience or 2 year hotel experience is preferred. The position requires the ability to understand and function in a five star culture. The position requires frequent walking, excessive standing or sitting and repetitive motions. Ability to lift up to 15 lbs. on occasion. A related college degree, course work or work experience is essential.
Position Responsibilities
Speak clearly and listen carefully. Use personal judgment and specialized knowledge to give information to people. Communicate well with many different kinds of people. Change easily and frequently from one activity to another such as from keyboarding to customer service, to internet search, to using a phone or radio transmitter. Must have developed computer skills
