Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will be mainly responsible to develop a fire alarm inspection and service department, and provide support in design, coordination and verification of releasing systems for various fire suppression systems. Among other things, your responsibilities will be:
Schedule and attend customers visits;
Prepare estimates and follow-up on quotations for small projects;
Overview a day-to-day work calendar to ensure projects are completed on time;
Participate in construction sites meetings, when necessary;
Manage a team of technicians, perform related administrative tasks and offer them technical support;
Make sure occupational health and safety procedures are applied;
Provide information regarding monthly invoicing to head office.
You will be based in Toronto but
will take over Ontario’s region including the Ottawa and Kingston branches.
Diploma in electronics or fire science technology;
At least 5 years of relevant experience;
Knowledge of Notifier products (an asset).
CFAA certification (an asset);
Valid driver’s licence;
Knowledge of NFPA, ULC and CNB codes and standards;
Strong customer service skills;
Leadership, ability to manage a team;
Ability to work well independently;
Bilingual – French/English (an asset).
