Then this is the job for you!!!!Our Waterloo based client is looking for a Service Technician to represent them with their large scale clients all over the world.Ideal candidates will have a passion for ‘tinkering’ with mechanics and have great Customer Service Skills.  As a representative of our client, you will be in front of fortune 500 companies to service and repair packaging equipment. You must be very computer savvy and have some exposure to reading Solid Works drawings. This position is much more about the opportunity it provides, than the base hourly pay rate. Time off between travel, is not always going to be able to happen. They modify and install parts for packaging machinery. It would require being able to be at their Waterloo location, when not travelling. They do offer medical/dental benefits. No other languages are required. But, you must be comfortable travelling to, and surviving, in a country where English is the 2nd, or even 3rd, language.The position will require travel 27 out of 30 days per month on average, to countries such as Russia, Turkey and Saudi Arabia. So, the incumbent must have a valid passport and the ability to travel on short notice.  This position is intended to grow into a management role in the near future. So ideal candidates will have past management experience, and/or the personality and authority to take on such a role. (Travel will go down to less than 50% of the time once you are a fully trained manager.)This is an hourly paid position, plus LOTS of overtime.  Technicians will work on average 60-70 hours a week.  All travel is company paid.  In addition, they offer great benefits and profit sharing.You must have a valid Canadian passport to be considered for this position.
