Your mission
Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will be mainly responsible for managing all the office operations related to sales, engineering, installation, service and inspection, administration, accounting, human resources and health and safety at work.
You will lead by example and show strong leadership competencies, show strategic thinking, and manage operations in an efficient manner.
Among other things, your responsibilities will be:
Participate in the development of the company’s objectives and strategies;
Participate in the budget forecasts for your office;
Participate in work estimates and follow-up on quotations;
Complete reviews for estimates;
Ensure excellence of performance by the effective use of manpower, material and equipment in order to achieve the production’s objectives in indicated deadlines;
Manage construction projects;
Oversee day-to-day operation of the branch;
Prepare monthly invoicing;
Lead team meetings and set clear team goals for all departments;
Delegate tasks and set deadlines;
Create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture;
Motivate employees, listen to employees’ feedback and resolve any issues or conflicts;
Monitor employee performance and perform evaluations;
Make sure occupational health and safety procedures are applied.
Participate in local associations (ECA, CASA, etc.)
Your contribution
Working within a team of fire protection professionals, your work will help the company to adequately meet his clients’ expectations and ensure the profitability of the branch.
Requirements
At least 5 to 10 years’ experience in a management or supervisory position for a company in the construction field of fire protection.
University degree or College diploma and deep knowledge of the construction field;
Having accomplished key realizations in different departments such as: estimating, engineering, installation, service and inspection;
Strong computer skills;
Proficiency in standards and codes governing the design and installation of fire sprinkler and fire alarm systems;
Strong customer service skills;
Respectful and transparent approach;
Strong teamwork and communication skills;
Valid driver’s licence.
