Elements Casino Victoria is on the lookout for a
to join our Culinary team. As a Dishwasher you will be one of the most important people in our kitchen.
The cleanliness of all kitchen areas, culinary equipment and utensils are paramount when ensuring that our guests are getting the ultimate culinary experience. Organizes, rinses, sprays and loads dishes/cutlery into dishwasher or washes by hand as required
Checks completed load for cleanliness and re-wash if necessary
Reports any malfunctions, breakage or discrepancies to the supervisor
Stores all clean items in the appropriate area
Sorts and removes garbage and recycling
Cleans all general kitchen areas including floors, counters and workspaces
Assists with the receipt of goods into the work area and stock shelves
Prepares some food products as requested
Liaises and communicates effectively with all appropriate operational departments
Develops and cultivates strong working relationships with all stakeholders (guests, ownership and employees)
Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations
Performs other duties as assigned or directed.
Minimum 6 months work experience in hospitality industry
High School Diploma
Level 1 FoodSafe
Ability to exceed internal customer expectations through timely, effective and service oriented communication
Ability to work well in a team environment, strong communication & organizational skills
Understanding of yourself as well as others when communicating with team members and guests
A passion for providing the Essential Elements of Excellence Guest Service to our internal and external guests
Ability to work in a fast paced, busy environment
Excellent multi-tasking skills
Ability to successfully obtain a criminal record and credit check through the Gaming Policy and Enforcement Branch (GPEB)
