An exciting opportunity to make a global impact
in a key transformative position. In this newly created position, make your mark by designing, developing, and implementing a centralized Human Resources Services Center, which will allow us to centralize processes and documentation in order to deliver high-care, low touch employee experiences. This will be done through supporting the business across geographic and site boundaries, with a deep focus on employee experience, operational excellence and continuous improvement. This leader will be an integral member of the HR management team, reporting to the VP, Total Rewards.
Design, develop, and implement an effective HR Services Centre, including leading the identification, hiring and training of team members.
Develop and execute on a detailed program roadmap, working with process owners and service providers to identify optimal service solutions.
Development and maintenance of processes and procedures, including employee portal documentation.
Build a continuous service improvement process, and partner with the Centers of Expertise (COEs) and HR Business Partners (HRBPs) to proactively explore opportunities to optimize key processes.
Liaise with stakeholders in HR and IS to understand business/functional requirements, and to collaborate with external vendor partners to implement, upgrade, and maintain technology solutions.
Define and measure Service Level Agreements (SLAs), analytics and reporting, to assess the performance of the HR Services Center.
Provide data driven insight and make recommendations to senior management and other internal stakeholders.
Support HR projects and key initiatives, and support the delivery and change management of new HR programs.
Lead and manage the HR Services department, by developing and coaching team members, ensuring that team is trained and knowledgeable and by cultivating a culture of customer service.
Manage and maintain an annual departmental budget
8-10 years of experience in an HR Shared Services environment
Global experience is a must have
A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or another related field
Proven track record of developing and successfully implementing strategy
Solid understanding and experience using SAP, SuccessFactors, Kenexa, ServiceNow, Kronos and other HR technology
Experience with Payroll systems is considered an asset
Ability to develop strong relationships with stakeholders across HR and the business, and the skill to collaborate with and motivate others
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
