Sponsorship Eligibility Expires:2019-10-31 Responsibilities/Duties: Alberta Health Services is seeking a motivated, confident, hard-working and team-oriented radiologist to join our dedicated team thatoffers high quality diagnostic solutions to Cold Lake, Bonnyville, St. Paul and surrounding areas.Our radiologists perform a mix of bothhospital and clinic work. Radiology services include ultrasound, mammography, bone mineral densitometry, fluoroscopy, computedtomography, in addition to digital x-ray and pain therapy. Additional training in pediatric radiology, breast imaging, interventionalprocedures and MSK are desirable. Applicants must be eligible to practice in Alberta. Compensation: Fee-for-ServiceAlberta Medical Association (AMA) Incentives A Flat Fee is paid to physicians who practice & residein this community of $17,175.34 per year provided his/her annual income for insured services is greater than $50,000. (Residencyconditions apply, including living in the eligible community for nine of the previous twelve months ending on the payment date.) TheVariable Fee Premium paid is an additional 16.36% for insured services provided in this community. Rural, Remote, Northern Program(RRNP) – Please note, payments through the RRNP are capped at $60,000 per physician per year.Retention Benefit – supports andpromotes the retention of physicians in Alberta by rewarding their continuous years of service to Albertans. Physicians receive between$4,400 and $11,000 depending on their years of service to Albertans.Medical Liability Reimbursement – reimburses physicians fortheir medical liability protection costs less a $1,000 deductible.Continuing Medical Education – reimburses physicians for eligiblecontinuing medical education costs.
