Pulls orders as requiredAnswers telephones and ensures counters are properly stockedMay drive truck to pick up incoming stock or deliver materials to designated locations or operate forklift or other machinery in order to complete tasksNature and Scope:Selects correct processes from clearly prescribed rules, past practices or instructionSeeks advice and guidance on non-routine or problem areas from supervisorDeviations from the norm are cleared by the supervisorUnder close supervision, exercises limited latitude/independent judgmentWork typically involves detailed checks or close review of output by a senior co-worker and/or supervisorWork Environment:Heavy lifting as required (must be able to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis)Minimum Qualifications:Must be eighteen years of ageMust pass the Background CheckEducation and Experience:HS Diploma or GED required1-2 years of experience in area of responsibilityPreferred Qualifications:Industry experience considered an assetAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft OfficeMust have valid Driver”s License (Must provide a clear abstract)Experience working with Great Plains considered an assetKnowledge of machines and tools, (product knowledge) would be considered an assetForklift experience would be considered an assetCritical Competencies to Drive Business Results:Strong team player with a POSITIVE “can-do” attitude and passion for excellenceExceptional communication skills and well-developed interpersonal skillsStrong appreciation for excellence in customer service is a MUSTReliable, confidential and conscientiousStrong initiative and ability to handle increasing responsibility over timeExcellent time management /organizational skills with ability to meet demanding deadlines in an extremely fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detailStrong business acumen with a sense of urgencyAbility to work with a high level of energy and focusExcellent problem solving and analytical skills
