Corporate Traveller is seeking experienced, travel industry experts to work in the role of
Corporate Travel Consultant .
You will be responsible for managing the travel requirements of companies within the SME B2B segment, presenting tailored travel solutions and delivering the boutique level of service that Corporate Traveller is famous for.
Your responsibilities will be the following:
Ensure client’s retention with by exceeding client expectations in every interaction with the travel manager in relation to:
Understanding and anticipating client needs and travel preferences;
Responding quickly and proactively to client requests;
Anticipating client travel requirements;
Resolving client complaints;
The accuracy and timely presentation of clients travel documentation.
Teamwork and Communication
To be an active contributing member at meetings with Team Leaders and BDMs to keep them abreast of client accounts and any information which is likely to impact (either positive or negatively) on;
Share information with fellow Corporate Travel Consultant and Team Leaders to ensure a united, consistent and professional approach to client account management.
Office Systems and Processes
To contribute to the development and maintenance of office systems and processes associated with accounts;
To ensure that all client account information is up to date so that a thorough knowledge and understanding of the account can be made by simply reading the client file.
You acknowledge and agree that your role may be changed from time to time at the Company’s discretion to ensure the successful ongoing operation of the Company.
Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years travel consulting experience, including business travel, along with buckets of ambition and an insatiable appetite for sales and delivery of impeccable service.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with business owners, decision makers and managers who book corporate travel;
Demonstrated knowledge of the best practices within the travel industry;
High attention to detail;
A positive attitude and a will to succeed;
Strong time management skills and professionalism;
Expertise in fares and complex itineraries;
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team;
Flexibility to work overtime as required, including management of our after-hours emergency service.
