With direction from the Manager, Learning Enablement, theContent Developer (Learning), will be responsible in facilitating learners in acquiring knowledge, skills and competencies in an effective and appealing manner.Principal Duties & Responsibilities: Create engaging learning activities and compelling course content that enhances retention and transferWork with subject matter experts and identify target audience’s training needsState instructional end goals and create content that matches themVisualize instructional graphics, the user interface and the finished productConduct instructional research and analysis on learners and contextsApply tested instructional design theories, practice and methodsProvide exercises and activities that enhance the learning processCreate supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role plays, games etc.)Decide on the criteria used to judge learner’s performance and develop assessment instrumentsMaintain project documentation and course foldersCandidate Qualifications: A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field, such as education, organizational development, human resources, business administration, or communications, is an assetMinimum three (3) years’ proven working experience in instructional design and with instructional technologyMinimum three (3) years’ experience working in training delivery, teaching, coaching and/or facilitation experience (experience in the wireless or electronics industry is an asset)Excellent knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models as well as organizational change management expertiseExcellent knowledge of lesson and curriculum planning skillsStrong working proficiency in course authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline 360, Adobe Captivate 2017, etc. and at least one Learning Management SystemStrong working proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, After Effects with the ability to storyboardStrong working proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint is requiredAbility to write effective copy, instructional text, audio scripts/video scriptsMust possess the ability to proactively build strong relationships within a diverse organizationMust possess exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple on-going prioritiesSuperior organizational and planning skills are requiredExcellent communication skills, both written and oral in English (Bilingualism is an asset)If you’re excited to be a member of our team, please apply now.
