Opportunity & ResponsibilitiesYou will be a part of a multi-disciplined consulting team working on a variety of clients and initiatives. As a Consultant, you will have a shared responsibility to deliver superior services to both your client and your team. You may work on more than one project at once. Finally, you will be expected to support coaching opportunities for Associate members of the team and contributing to the company culture. We ensure all our team members are a great fit and it’s essential that candidate area aligned to the Daggerwing Way and our core values:Fuel connections: be real, be fun, growRaise the bar: be curios, be brilliant, inspireMake it happen: be bold, be brave, leadA summary of responsibilities for this position: Strategy and Content DevelopmentContribute to the articulation of strategy in written and presentation formatsAssist in the coordination and preparation of major client meetings and deliverables – this includes overseeing that all the necessary work items are complete, produced and ready for client deliverySupport the development of client and internal deliverables, discussion documents and brainstorming sessionsAttend, transcribe or summarize and pull key insights from discovery interviews with client stakeholders (over the phone or in-person)Research, Analysis & Report WritingLead writing and developing background research on prospective clients and their industries to prepare management and consulting teams for new business proposals and pitchesPrepare 3rd party research summaries and background for the consulting teamReview client research to extract key findings, provide analysis and summarize insightsCompile, research and prepare insight reports for clients and internal team (e.g. industry and trend analysis, competitive audits, best practice research)Project and Account ManagementBased on the project plan, lead identifying required tasks, interdependencies, resource constraints, red flags, and develop work back schedulesAct as the point person, working alongside Project leads including Principals, Managing Consultant and Senior Consultants to communicate project updates to client(s), arrange meetings and escalate any issuesResponsible for organization of all client assets and ensuring they are shared with the team and available for useLiaise with Associates on day-to-day tasks and for support in project management (e.g. internal status development/management)Internal Communications and Consulting Team SupportParticipate in internal brainstorming sessions with consulting teamAct as a creative liaison, responsible for coordinating with internal creative team on presentation and stimuli developmentAssist consulting team during new business pitch developmentTranscribe detailed internal and client meeting documentation, including recording minutes and distributing notes to the consulting teamProof internal and client-facing documents for content accuracy, spelling, grammar, consistency and recommend changes and editsParticipate in and support internal events and planning committeesRequirementsUndergraduate degree in business or MBAPossesses strong written and verbal communication skillsHas creative problem solving and conceptual thinking skillsHas strong analytical skills and is detailed orientedThrives in non-structured and flexible environmentsPossesses project management skills and is interested in client and account managementHas a career interest in consultingHas a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and is open to constructive feedbackStrong work ethic, dedicated and self-motivatedPrefers a collaborative team work environment, is able to manage others, and is comfortable ‘managing up’Proficient in MAC Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) – we are a MAC friendly environmentComfortable with traveling internationally and has a valid passportWho you areThrives under pressure and in non-structured and sometimes ambiguous environmentsHas a positive attitude, a desire to continuously learn, and is open to constructive feedbackStrong work ethic, dedicated and self-motivatedPrefers a collaborative team work environment, and is comfortable ‘managing up’Interested in client and account managementWillingness to roll up sleeves and do the work – regardless of the levelEntrepreneurial ability to get things done
