Our Client,CREATE. Construction Management is looking to add a new Commercial Construction Estimator to their team. The successful candidate will be high energy, be driven to work in a production role but also want to collaborate with a small team of rock stars. The Commercial Construction Estimator will be responsible to assess all aspects of commercial construction documents and drawings in order to provide fully comprehensive estimates and tenders for clients.A minimum of 5-7 years in commercial construction estimating experienceEstimating and/or Construction Management Education would be considered an assetConfidence in reading blueprintsExperience in doing on-screen takeoffsExperience in all facets of commercial construction estimatingExperience in using Sage Timberline (implementation experience would be a bonus!)Experience using Plan swiftFluency in the Microsoft Office SuiteReading blueprints in order to quantify informationGenerating Onscreen Takeoffs for commercial projectsImplementation of Sage Timberline softwareCreating tenders for various commercial applicationsCreating and administering contractsMaintaining trades listsCreating strong relationships with sub tradesCreating estimate and project reportsMaintaining administrative reports and filesEnsuring that all cost sheets are up to date and relevantKeeping up to date information and knowing new products on the marketAdministrative duties subject to the Estimating processWhat CREATE.
