Position Summary:In accordance with the Covenant Care Mission, Vision, and Values, the Chaplain provides spiritual and emotional care for residents at Beaumont Supportive Living, their families and staff members. The Chaplain functions as an integrated member of the care team and provides spiritual leadership within the facility. The Chaplain provides spiritual care to people of all faiths, respectful of their unique journey and the interweaving of health, cultural, religious and/or spiritual traditions. The Chaplain encourages the development and integration of an individual’s own spiritual resources and promotes expressions of healthy spirituality. The Chaplain establishes supportive relationships with residents and faith community members to build a network of spiritual and religious resources for residents and families.Qualifications:UndergraduateTheological/religious studies degree or equivalent obtained from a recognized theological college required (Master”s degree preferred)Basic Supervised Pastoral Education (SPE) or equivalent required. A minimum of two additional units of Advanced SPE with Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) preferred.
