Take a look at this video to learn more about who we are and what we do!Position Summary:Reporting to the Director of Sales, the Business Development Manager will play a key role in the creation and implementation of our business plan for new customer acquisitions. We are seeking a driven sales professional with an entrepreneurial spirit who thrives on taking ownership of new customers and building new strong relationships. The first six months of this role will be in the capacity of a District Sales Associate. Minimum Requirements:Education:Degree or Diploma preferred (business and/or accounting focus also preferred)Essential Functions (Duties):Pro-actively identify new profitable business opportunities to achieve sales targets, while keeping a dynamic prospecting funnel with the use of our GFS CRM tool. Cold call as appropriate within the market or geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunitiesResearch and build relationships with new clients Able to clarify customers needs/solution solverCreate, manage and deliver an annual business development planSolid understanding of profitabilityResponsible for meeting or exceeding sales plan objectivesClose and onboard new businessImplement and manage pricing strategies within all accounts Maintain knowledge and be up to date with industry trends, issues and newsWork with key personnel to ensure all business opportunities are managed professionally and to ensure a smooth transition between customer and DSR Handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements and working through differences to a positive conclusion.
