From there, please apply to our Business Intelligence Consultant job posting.In your cover letter, please tell us about your achievements to date and why you want to be a BI Consultant with Groundswell Group.What does a Business Intelligence Consultant do every-day?Develop end-to-end business intelligence solutions in both project and support roles.Work closely with business stakeholders to collect and document needs assessment.Collaborate with solutioning peers to design and deliver client solutions.Write documentation (g. impact analysis, data definitions, technical design specifications, operations manual, test plans).Work competently and confidently in multiple technical environments.Query and analyze data sources to understand the data and determine logic data transformations.Develop ETL processes.Develop data models.Write and implement stored procedures.Design dashboards and visualization reports.What kind of knowledge and experience does a Business Intelligence Consultant need?Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or Data Science.Experience or exposure to a variety of vendor Business Intelligence and Data Management tools.Working knowledge of Kimball Data Warehouse Methodologies.Knowledgeable in Agile development methodology.Knowledgeable in Metadata driven development (e.g. code generation and automation).Strong SQL and Oracle PL/SQL skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Customer service focused.Ability to adhere to established processes, best practices, guidelines for change and release management.Self-motivated, keen to learn and proven rapid learning capability.Ability to work with minimal supervision within a collaborative team oriented environment.Ability to travel.
