Oakville, ON L6H 5V9Working Hours: Full-time 40 hours (Monday- Friday)Job Summary:Ensure exceptional service through ongoing organizationMaximize productivity through planning and executing product warehousing and staging to minimize laborEnsure order pulling and stocking proceed efficientlyMajor Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities:Plans and executes product warehousing and staging to minimize labor and ensure orders pulling and stocking proceed efficientlyPosition stock so that faster moving products are on the lower shelvesAdjust shelves to hold current and overstock capacitiesStraighten existing aisles in the warehouseChange bin locations in the system and print bin labelsReview racking and replace damaged racksPerforms other duties as assignedNature and Scope:May modify processes to resolve situationsUnder limited supervision, relies on experience and exercises independent judgment to determine best approach to achieve desired outcomes. Course of action is often determined by interpreting procedures and policiesWork typically involves periodic review of output by supervisor or direct ”customers” of the processIs sought out and/or assigned to provide general guidance/direction, training, and technical assistance to junior level support personnelContributes to employees professional development but does not have hiring/firing authorityWork Environment:Requires intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting and maneuvering material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkwardLocated in a comfortable indoor area.
