Your mission as a Outside Sales Representative TheOutside Sales Representativewill report to the Sales Manager and be responsible for promoting LASIK MD’s services to a network of eye care providers.The successful candidate will be sales oriented, organized and thrive in a fast paced environment. Responsibilities Act as a direct Liaison between LASIK MD and the optometric community Develop/reinforce relationships with affiliate doctors and their staff via LRS, LMD and program education Closely monitor volume and quality of referrals from affiliates Work closely with LASIK MD Centre Directors, Optometric Relations Coordinators, Optometrists, Surgeons and Marketing team to develop/coordinate affiliate marketing initiatives Assist with training and follow-up of internal LMD practices in relation to program Develop and implement quarterly initiatives and annual sales plan Represent LASIK MD at community optometric events (tradeshows etc.) Uncover opportunities for educational involvement (CE’s) with the optometric community / organize, host and measure effectiveness of LMD MD-OD conferences Stay abreast of competitive intelligence for territory Report on monthly sales results and measure effectiveness within territory Required Skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Strong written and oral presentation skills Time management and organization skills Self-motivated, entrepreneurial with strong sense of urgency Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point) Knowledge and experience with using CRM (Sage ACT!, Siebel, etc.) Ability to follow budgets and work with Sales targets Strong ability to work with minimal supervision Ability to adapt to change and work in a fast paced environment Proactive Must be a team player Proven track record in sales Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of related outside sales experience. Preferably in a medical sales role Valid Driver’s license / Regular access to a vehicle Willingness to travel long distances within territory Proven track record in sales Position details This is a temporary mandate for a maternity leave replacement(20 months), full-time. A competitive compensation for this position is offered.This position involves regular travel in the Vancouver and Surrey areal.Candidates must be available to work from Monday to Friday.
