Description
POSITION PURPOSE:
Maintain and exceed Trump National Doral – Miami standards in order to maximize profits and ensure outstanding guest service.
EXAMPLES OF DUTIES:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Set up bars with all essential products, glassware, garnishes and so on, as well as rotating all products that may be needed.
Maintain the bars to the Trump National Doral – Miami service standard and ensure that guest have the best experience possible.
Perform all side work required such as cleaning, stocking, and requisitioning supplies.
Break down bars, making a bottle count, and putting a requisition form together or the following day. Making sure the bar is set up and ready for the next bar shift.
Follow all appropriate policies and procedures while constantly striving to improve all standards of operation.
Ensure prompt and courteous service to guests to ensure guest satisfaction. Promptly follow-up on all guest requests and/or complaints.
SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY:
The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Knowledge of bar operations, to include appropriate staffing levels, service equipment and guest relations.
Ability to read the English language to fully comprehend guest requests, memos, reservations, promotional materials, event orders and similar written materials.
Ability to communicate orally and verbally in English with staff and outside entities. Certain positions will require the ability to read and write in English as well.
Ability to remember, recite and promote the variety of menu items.
Willingness and ability to taste food items relevant to the menu.
Ability to effectively deal with guest complaints and concerns in a friendly and positive manner. This involves listening to the nature of the concern, demonstrating empathy with the guest and providing positive and proactive solutions.
QUALIFICATION STANDARDS:
EDUCATION
High School graduate required.
EXPERIENCE
At least 2 years relevant experience in food service industry.
LICENSES OR CERTIFICATES
Food Handler Certification.
Certified Food Service Professional.
CPR Certification is beneficial.
GROOMING
All associates must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance (specific standards available).
OTHER
Additional language ability is preferred.
