Vendor Management plays a key role in creating, leveraging and realizing scale economies, in addition to maximizing all synergy opportunitiesWhat you’ll do:Oversee the procurement process and negotiation of any Technology procurement/legal matters Provide relationship management with suppliers, across all lines of business and all locationsManage relationships with corporate Purchasing and Legal functionsProvide governance to ensure the enterprise’s best interests are protected and minimize long-term risksConsult for all interactions with suppliersWho you are:Minimum3+ years in a Technology roleDegree in related discipline (Computer Science, Commerce, Business Administration, Management Information Systems, etc.) or equivalent combination of training and experienceExcellent Technology contract negotiatorProven experience leading a team and driving for results Effective at planning and organizing with the ability to manage and prioritize competing projects, adapt to change, and perform effectively under time pressure without compromising qualityTrack record of identifying potential risks and implementing action plans to mitigate theses risksStrong relationship management, partnering and collaboration skills and ability to influence stakeholdersA customer centric approach to problem solving with the ability to collaborate, resolve conflicts, and reach consensus with othersExcellent communicator who builds strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and has the ability to translate complex technical subject matter in business terms for executive audiences, succinctly and professionallyExceptional in facilitating change management and driving resultsFosters and provides visible key leadership across the organization What really sets you apart:Work experience negotiating contracts with major Technology suppliersWork experience with a technology supplierWork experience managing supplier service delivery in an IT environmentProcurement experience (responding to requests for proposals or bids; or in creation of request for proposals to solicit bids)Discover your opportunity….Apply today!Great-West Life offers competitive compensation, great benefits such as medical, dental, life insurance, wellness account and personal days not to mention onsite cafeteria and fitness facilities.
