Reporting to the Manager, Commercial and Industrial energy marketing, this position is responsible for supporting the Commercial and Industrial Energy Marketing team.
Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to the following:
Analyze and integrate detailed research and financial analysis into concise reports
Develop system/policy for position management to keep within risk management policy
Management the daily pricing model and pricing methodology
Build ad hoc pricing models to meet custom pricing requests
Provide Energy Market Information and Analysis by investigating market drivers of pricing trends/changes and managing competitive intelligence
Fulfill reporting/analysis of customer accounts including Cost Reports, Usage Reports, and Hedge Analysis
Produce sales management reports including Renewal Activity, Sales Forecasts and Results, and Commission Reporting
Maintain account files and systems
Provide back up to Account Managers as needed
Maintains positive customer relationships – both internal and external
Assist with Marketing & Research in the following areas:
Newsletter, Website content, Customer satisfaction surveys
Branding of customer facing analytics/tool
Research market opportunities outside Alberta
RFP Process – Coordinating customer information, preparing/updating RFP submissions/proposals, and custom pricing as required
Post-secondary education or equivalent experience, training, or courses
2-4 years’ experience in combined experience involving business analytics, customer service, account maintenance and/or sales
Experience in the energy industry considered an asset
Excellent computer, math and data analysis skills
Strong attention to detail, proven ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet critical deadlines
Strong critical thinking, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
Motivated individual able to work independently and as a team player
