The Co-operative Retailing System (CRS) is a unique, multi-billion dollar organization based on the fundamental principles of co-operation. With current annual sales of $82 million and many exciting changes happening, the successful candidate for this position will embrace the positive values, possibilities and evolution of this challenging and rewarding career.Reporting to the Agro Division Manager, the Agro Manager will be responsible for:Duties:Exceptional customer sales & serviceTo organize, direct and co-ordinate the sales floor activity to ensure an acceptable standard is achievedTo schedule, train, lead and direct the Ag department teamDemonstrate and maintain a high level of product knowledge, inventory management and technical skillsParticipate in the development and implementation of business plansLead a culture of safety through adherence to company standards for Health & Safety, Loss Prevention, and Environmental due diligencePrepare and maintain the department budgetAssist in other areas as neededQualifications:Candidates must demonstrate effective team leadership skills and the ability to work well within a multi-generational team.
